About the Owner
Dr. Jayda Monteiro is a dedicated and passionate, licensed social worker, post secondary educator, and social impact innovator and advocate committed to empowering individuals and communities to reach their fullest potential. With over 10 years of social work experience, she brings a wealth of expertise to her work, particularly in the areas of behavioral health and emotional well-being, community organization and leadership and advocacy. Her research and practice focus on guiding individuals toward self-actualization, helping them break free from the cycles of trauma, and building resilience for a healthier, more fulfilling life.
As a strong advocate for overall well-being, Dr. Monteiro works to create supportive environments where people can thrive, fostering the personal growth and leadership skills needed to overcome obstacles and lead with purpose. Passionate about education, she strives to inspire future social workers, instilling in them the importance of empathy, cultural competence, and social justice in every aspect of their professional journey.
Dr. Monteiro founded Jayda Monteiro Solutions LLC, a social impact consultancy firm, to empower organizations to do good internally and externally, create sustainable sources of impact in social issues, and promote innovative, research-supported solutions. Dr. Monteiro's expertise in understanding human behavior and social structures positions her uniquely to guide organizations in creating socially responsible and sustainable practices.
Dr. Monteiro holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Indiana University, a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University, and a Doctor of Social Work degree from University of Southern California. Dr. Monteiro earned a Certificate in Case Management from Indiana University and a Certificate of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from University of Southern Florida, Corporate Training & Professional Education. Dr. Monteiro is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Indiana. Dr. Monteiro possesses countless hours of training in various aspects of social work and leadership as well as serves on several advisory committees and boards of directors.
